Remember kids, always triple check your tumblr content before you post!

Lest you post the wrong comics THREE times!

Rough layout sketches for Zero-Point and Wing Commander banners.

The first 10 page of Astounding Tales of Hero Fiction. Making these comics has been a big learning curve for me, especially keeping a scheduled with a full time job and other art commitments. I’ve also spend the last few days purchasing a domain name and website, learning about wordpress and other website stuff.

My new goal is to finish three complete pages a week and create a back log of comics and other misc stuff for the website. No dates for the website launch yet, but keep an eye out on my tumblr for more info.

FINAL EDIT DIRECTORS CUT: Correct font and page order. This is why you shouldn’t post on tumblr at 12 midnight….

FINAL EDIT: Third times a charm! Got rid of that type writer font completely since there was no way I could make that it work.

While I’ve been showing you my ATOHF work in the standard comic page format, for the website a full page will be split into 3 strips.

This is ultimately why I chose the 9 panel grid format (it wasn’t just to rip off Steve Ditko!), that way my comic could fit on a computer screen and still have the classic comic book format if I wanted to print it or make downloadable pdf. Plus 9 grids keeps a nice flow throughout the page, even when split!

Realised after I put those ATOHF pages up that the font is ‘jaggy’ and a bit hard to read. Will rectify this later after work.
